Why Shivam Autozone Started With Service Before Sales
Before we handed over our first new car, we were already taking care of cars.
When Shivam Autozone began on 3 July 2011, we didn’t start with a showroom. We started with a dedicated Maruti Suzuki service centre in Charkop, Kandivali.
It was a different way to begin a dealership journey, but it gave us something valuable from day one: the opportunity to earn customers’ trust through the care we provided, not just the cars we sold.
The Road Less Taken
A dealership is often associated with shiny new cars, test drives and delivery ceremonies. Our journey began in the workshop instead.
By starting with after-sales service, we got to understand what car ownership really means. It isn’t just about the excitement of bringing home a new car. It is also about keeping it reliable, maintaining it through the years, and knowing where to turn when something needs attention.
That first service centre laid the foundation for the Shivam Autozone we know today.
What Starting With Service Taught Us
Our beginnings shaped the way we look at customer relationships in three important ways.
- Trust grows over time. A car is delivered once, but the relationship with its owner continues through regular servicing, unexpected repairs and years of everyday journeys.
- The little things matter. Clear communication, dependable service and helping customers understand what their car needs can make a lasting difference.
- Every interaction is an opportunity to earn confidence. Customers trust us with something they depend on every day. We believe that responsibility deserves care, transparency and attention.
These lessons remain relevant whether a customer visits us for a routine service or walks into a showroom to choose their next car.
Service Remains at the Heart of Shivam Autozone
Our journey has grown since 2011, but service continues to be an important part of who we are.
- Authorised Maruti Suzuki Servicing – Professional vehicle care through our service network.
- QuickStop Workshop – A quick-service facility at an Indian Oil petrol pump in Goregaon.
- Service on Wheels – An additional way to access car care beyond a conventional workshop visit.
- Everyday car care – From oil changes and wheel alignment and balancing to battery health checks, we help customers stay on top of essential maintenance.
Our philosophy is summed up in a simple promise: Your Maruti, Our Responsibility.
From One Service Centre to a Growing Journey
Shivam Autozone’s story began in a workshop in Charkop, Kandivali, in 2011. What started with caring for the cars customers already owned has grown into a wider automotive retail and service network.
As we look back on our journey, one thing remains unchanged: selling a car may begin a relationship, but taking care of it helps that relationship grow.
