Designation – Telemarketing Team Leader

Job Title: Telemarketing Team Leader – Used Car Sales

Role Summary:

The Telemarketing Team Leader – Used Car Sales is responsible for leading and motivating a team of telemarketers to generate leads, book showroom or test drive appointments, and support the overall sales process of pre-owned vehicles. This role demands strong leadership, sales acumen, and the ability to handle customer objections related to used vehicle quality, price, and warranty.


Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Coaching

  • Supervise a team of telemarketers, ensuring daily targets and call quality standards are met

  • Conduct onboarding, sales training, and regular upskilling sessions focused on used car features, pricing, and financing

  • Lead by example with proactive call handling and objection resolution

Telemarketing Operations

  • Manage daily calling schedules and lead distribution

  • Drive outbound campaigns to follow up with leads from online portals, website inquiries, trade-ins, or previous customers

  • Develop scripts and rebuttals tailored to used car sales, addressing concerns like vehicle history, mileage, or condition

Sales Coordination & Lead Management

  • Work closely with the Used Car Sales Manager to prioritize high-potential leads

  • Ensure accurate CRM updates, proper follow-ups, and appointment confirmations

  • Monitor lead-to-show and show-to-sale conversion rates and optimize the process

Reporting & Optimization

  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs for individual agents and the team

  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, training needs, or process improvements

  • Submit regular performance reports to senior management

Customer Interaction & Quality Control

  • Monitor calls for quality assurance and compliance

  • Handle escalations professionally and ensure customer satisfaction


Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in telemarketing or inside sales, preferably in the automotive industry or used car market

  • Proven experience in leading or mentoring a sales team

  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with used car inventory systems, CRM platforms (e.g., AutoRaptor, VinSolutions)

  • Understanding of vehicle valuation, financing options, and after-sales services

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Job Title: Assistant Telemarketing Team Leader

Role Summary:

The Assistant Telemarketing Team Leader supports the Telemarketing Team Leader in overseeing daily telemarketing operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring lead generation targets are met. This role bridges the gap between frontline telemarketing agents and upper management, providing both operational support and leadership in the sales process of automobiles (new or used).


Key Responsibilities:

Team Support & Supervision

  • Assist the Team Leader in supervising telemarketing staff

  • Monitor agent performance and provide real-time support during calls

  • Step in to lead the team during the absence of the Team Leader

Operational Execution

  • Help manage daily outbound call schedules and ensure leads are followed up promptly

  • Support the creation and refinement of call scripts, rebuttals, and lead handling processes

Lead Management

Designation – Workshop Manager

This position will manage and lead a team of people in allocating workload and managing the day-to-day operations in the workshop. It requires the job holder to co-ordinate resources and liaise with internal and external key contacts to ensure work is delivered on time and to a quality standard.

Experience – Automobile Diploma of 3 years full-time is required.
Experience in said position for at least 2 years.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labour allocation for day-to-day operations.
  • Co-ordinate resources, (operational and human) schedules and activities to effectively manage jobs.
  • Ensure supplies are ordered for each job.
    Assist with quoting, project management, materials purchasing, and quality checks.
  • Ensure correct job numbers are used and that time records are correct.
  • Provide oversight and check job estimates
    Manage inward goods, checking quantities, dispatching goods and receipting invoices.
  • Regularly report progress on each job and quickly communicate delays or concerns with the Director – Operations.
  • Report on manpower overruns or shortfalls.
    Act as a technical adviser on key projects and other areas of the business as requested.
  • Work with the Director – Operations to respond to client’s requests for updates on the status of their jobs and keep the communication channels open to ensure information is accurate.
  • Identify client’s needs and explain/demonstrate AMS’s services to them, which may involve technical descriptions of products and the way they may be used.
  • Receive and review feedback from customers and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
    Work with the Directors to investigate customer complaints and concerns arising from products and suggest appropriate solutions. Discuss with the team to identify an appropriate course of action.
  • Develop and implement systems to record, file, and store information pertaining to client inquiries.
  • Identify staff that require ongoing training and implement training opportunities to ensure their skills are improved.
  • Work with apprentices and semi-skilled staff to role model appropriate technical skills.

    Skills and Experience:
  • Engineering Trade Qualification preferably Fitter Turner or Fitter Welder or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Qualification – Graduate

Experience: – 1 year experience in sales is mandatory. Preferably from 2 wheeler / Car Dealership
